An electric bolt lock provides powerful and precise locking for doors, sliding gates, server cabinets, and access hatches. Unlike standard strike plates, bolt locks use a sturdy pin or bolt that extends or retracts mechanically. At UMATECH, you'll find compact and robust models with vertical or horizontal locking, for both indoor and outdoor use.

Suitable for:

  • Doors with little closing force (e.g. glass doors)
  • Sliding, sliding or double doors
  • Server cabinets, safes or technical rooms
  • Interlock and double door applications

Our bolt locks are available in:

  • 12 V or 24 V DC
  • Fail-secure (closed without power) or fail-safe (open in case of power failure)
  • Mini versions for cabinets or furniture
  • IP65 versions for outdoor mounting

Many models feature:

  • Status feedback (open/close detected)
  • Delay or timer function
  • Long-lasting stainless steel locking pin
  • Time-controlled extension to set closing delay

Mounting is possible on a door, frame, or side panel, often with just four screws. Thanks to their compact size, bolt locks are also suitable for situations with limited installation space. They can be controlled directly via an access controller, relay, push button, or home automation system.
