A magnetic plate , also known as a maglock , holds a door closed without mechanical contact—ideal for glass doors, emergency exits, gates, or automatic doors. As soon as the system receives power, the magnetic plate attaches to the anchor, with a holding force of up to 600 kg. At UMATECH , you'll find reliable electromagnets for indoor and outdoor use, in all sizes and designs.

Our collection includes:

  • Standard magnets (180–600 kg) for surface mounting
  • Mini-maglocks for cabinets, server racks and narrow frames
  • Double magnets for double doors
  • IP65 versions with epoxy sealing for outdoor use
  • With door status sensor or LED indication for instant visual control

Installation is easy thanks to the included L-, Z-, or U-brackets , drilling templates, and manual. Power is supplied via 12 V or 24 V DC , and some models even work via PoE in combination with a suitable controller.

The lock is completely silent and wear-free, making maglocks ideal for locations with high traffic. Do you want a door to unlock automatically in the event of a power failure? Then choose fail-safe magnetic locks – open by default when the power is lost.
