An electric striker —also called a strike plate or door opener—is the final link between your intercom or access control system and the physical door. When you press the button, the latch is briefly released, allowing the visitor to enter without a key. At UMATECH, you'll find strikers for wood, steel, and aluminum doors, in both Fail-Secure and Fail-Safe versions.

Our standard models fit a Europrofile frame and have an adjustable lip for perfect alignment. Do you have fire or escape route requirements? Then choose an EN 14846-certified series with a high holding capacity of up to 850 kg and an integrated monitoring switch. For glass doors, we offer narrow U-profile strikers, while extra-narrow "mini" models are ideal for slim aluminum frames. All models are equipped with diodes to protect your relay or intercom board from voltage spikes.

Connecting is simple: two wires to 12–24 V DC or AC, a strike plate in the recess, screws in place, and you're done. Want to combine access control and an intercom? Dual-coil strikers accept separate control signals from both the intercom and the controller. Optional stainless steel cover plates allow you to neatly finish the opening for a professional look.
