The The Ajax FireProtect 2 AC Black provides effective protection against fire and smoke. Upon detecting a rapid temperature increase or smoke, the detector sends a notification within a second and activates the built-in 85-decibel alarm. Thanks to the pre-installed SmartBracket with WAGO 221, installation is very easy.
The device uses the Jeweller radio protocol for fast information exchange between the various alarm components of Ajax. The The Ajax FireProtect 2 AC Black is wireless and can be installed within a 1700-meter (open space) radius of the central hub, with the option of extending this distance with signal repeaters. The device operates on 110-240V power and has a backup battery with an expected lifespan of ten years, ensuring the system remains operational even during power outages.
The The Ajax FireProtect 2 AC Black features tamper protection and performs regular self-tests to immediately report any problems. Thanks to the HazeFlow 2 algorithm, the detector detects smoke and does not react to water vapor. The patented smoke chamber protects the sensors from dust and dirt, so cleaning is rarely necessary.
