Product description
The Ajax FireProtect 2 AC Black effectively protects against carbon monoxide. If a rapid increase in carbon monoxide levels is detected in a room, the detector sends a warning within a second. The built-in alarm has an 85-decibel volume. This model is specifically designed for carbon monoxide detection and does not have smoke or heat detectors. Installation is easy thanks to the pre-installed SmartBracket with WAGO 221.
Using the Jeweller radio protocol, the device quickly exchanges information with other Ajax alarm components. The Ajax FireProtect 2 AC Black is wireless and can be installed within a distance of 1700 meters (in open space) from the central hub. This distance can be extended with signal repeaters. The device operates on a 110-240V power supply and has a backup battery with a ten-year lifespan, ensuring continuity during power outages.
The Ajax FireProtect 2 AC Black is equipped with tamper protection and performs regular self-tests to immediately report any problems. Ideal for use in homes, offices, and shops, the carbon monoxide detector is protected from dust and dirt by a patented smoke chamber, making cleaning rarely necessary.
