The Dahua IPC-HDBW2241E-S is a Full HD 2-megapixel Starlight Lite AI dome camera with a 2.8mm lens, a highly sensitive image sensor, and 30-meter infrared night vision. The camera features 120dB WDR, is powered via PoE, and supports microSD card recording. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The camera is part of the Dahua Wizsense AI series and features an AI chip for features such as perimeter protection and Smart Motion Detection Plus (SMD Plus). This technology ensures reliable motion detection by filtering out irrelevant objects, reducing false alarms. AI also enables efficient video searches, as people and vehicles are automatically recognized and classified.
Possibilities
The camera delivers Full HD images with a resolution of 1920x1080. The fixed 2.8mm lens and Dahua Starlight technology ensure clear color images in very low light (down to 0.002 lux). In complete darkness, the camera automatically switches to IR illumination with a range of up to 30 meters. Built-in 120dB WDR technology makes the camera suitable for situations with strong backlight, such as sunlight or headlights.
Recordings can be stored on an NVR or on a microSD card up to 256 GB (not included). A free Dutch app is available for iOS and Android. The camera can also be accessed via a browser via an internal web server. Dahua offers free Video Management Software (VMS) for PCs.
The camera is IP67 waterproof and IK10 vandal-resistant. Power is supplied via Power over Ethernet (PoE – 802.3af) or, optionally, a 12V adapter. For mounting, the camera is adjustable on three axes, making it easy to install on a wall.
