The Dahua IPC-HDBW2241R-ZS-DG is a dark gray Full HD 2-megapixel dome Starlight Lite AI camera with a highly light-sensitive image sensor and 40-meter infrared night vision, 120dB WDR, PoE power, and microSD recording for indoor or outdoor use. The camera belongs to the Dahua WizSense AI series, featuring an Artificial Intelligence chip for support of intelligent features such as perimeter protection and Smart Motion Detection Plus (SMD Plus). SMD ensures reliable motion detection by filtering out objects. False alarms caused by pets, leaves, light, and other distracting objects are thus minimized. The advanced AI also supports fast searching from recorded video, as it is able to extract and classify people and vehicles from large amounts of video data.

The Dahua IPC-HDBW2241R-ZS-DG displays images in Full HD 1920x1080 resolution. The camera has a fixed lens of 2.7-13.5 mm. The camera features Dahua Starlight Technology, making it ideal for applications with challenging lighting conditions. Thanks to the highly light-sensitive image sensor, the camera delivers usable color images with minimal ambient light, even in near-total darkness (0.002 lux). The camera has a built-in automatic day/night IR cut filter and can also activate the built-in IR illumination in dark conditions, delivering a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 lux). The IR illumination has a range of up to 40 meters.
The camera features 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), allowing it to handle complex lighting conditions such as backlight or car headlights with exceptional ease. Footage can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other devices. The camera also supports in-camera recording to a microSD memory card up to 256GB (not included). Dahua offers a free Dutch app for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed with a web browser. The Dahua IPC-HDBW2241R-ZS-DG has an IP67 rating, making it ideal for outdoor use. It also has an IK10 vandal-resistant rating. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable using Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af PoE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch, or a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter. Under the "Options" tab, you can specify whether an adapter and/or a Dahua mounting bracket should be included. The camera is adjustable in three axes, making it ideal for vertical wall mounting.
