The Dahua IPC-HDBW2831E-S-S2 is an 8-megapixel Ultra 4K HD Starlight dome camera with PoE, a fixed 2.8mm lens, infrared night vision, an SD card slot, and 120dB WDR for indoor or outdoor use. The camera features the latest SMART H.265 encoding protocol for highly efficient use of network bandwidth and storage space for video.
Possibilities
The IPC-HDBW2831E-S-S2 displays images in Full HD 3840x2160 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR cut filter, making it a true day/night camera. Thanks to its highly light-sensitive image sensor, the camera delivers usable color images with minimal ambient light, even in near-total darkness (0.009 lux). In very dark conditions, the camera can activate its built-in IR illumination, delivering razor-sharp images even in complete darkness (0 lux). The IR illumination has a range of up to 30 meters. The camera features 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), allowing it to handle complex lighting conditions such as backlight or car headlights with exceptional ease. The fixed lens has a horizontal angle of view of 105 degrees. Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other devices. The camera also supports in-camera recording on a microSD memory card of up to 256GB. Dahua offers a free Dutch app for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed with a web browser. Free Video Management Software (VMS) for a computer can be downloaded from the Dahua website. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch, or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter. Under the "Options" tab, you can indicate whether an adapter is included. Suitable Dahua mounting brackets are listed under the "Options" tab. The camera is adjustable in three axes, making it ideal for vertical wall mounting. The camera has an IK10 vandal resistance classification.
