The Dahua IPC-HDBW3241R-ZS-S2 is a Full HD 2-megapixel Starlight Lite AI dome camera with a highly light-sensitive image sensor and 40-meter infrared night vision, 120dB WDR, PoE power, and microSD recording, suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The camera belongs to the Dahua Lite AI series and is equipped with an artificial intelligence chip for intelligent features such as perimeter protection and Smart Motion Detection Plus (SMD Plus). SMD ensures reliable motion detection by filtering out irrelevant objects, minimizing false alarms caused by things like pets, leaves, or light.
The advanced AI also enables fast searching within recorded video footage, as people and vehicles are automatically recognized and classified.
Possibilities
The Dahua IPC-HDBW3241R-ZS-S2 displays images in Full HD 1920x1080 resolution and features a motorized varifocal lens. Thanks to Dahua's Starlight Technology and its highly light-sensitive sensor, the camera delivers usable color images even in ambient light as low as 0.002 lux. In complete darkness, the IR illumination automatically activates (range up to 40 meters).
The camera features 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which ensures optimal performance in challenging lighting conditions, such as backlight from the sun or headlights. Footage can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR) or a microSD card up to 256GB (not included).
Dahua offers a free Dutch app for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has a built-in web server and can be managed via a browser. Free Video Management Software (VMS) for PCs can be downloaded from the Dahua website.
The camera has an IP67 rating (dust and waterproof) and IK10 vandal resistance, making it ideal for outdoor use. The camera can be powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE, 802.3af) through a PoE NVR, PoE switch, or injector. Alternatively, a 12V adapter is available.
Under the Options tab, you can choose an adapter and/or Dahua mounting bracket. Thanks to its triple-axis adjustment, the camera is also suitable for wall mounting.
