The Dahua IPC-HDBW3541E-AS is a Full HD 5-megapixel dome Starlight Lite AI camera with a highly light-sensitive image sensor and 50-meter infrared night vision, 120dB WDR, PoE power, and microSD recording for indoor or outdoor use. The camera features alarm and audio inputs and outputs.
The camera belongs to the Dahua Lite AI series, featuring an artificial intelligence chip that supports intelligent features such as perimeter protection and Smart Motion Detection Plus (SMD Plus). SMD ensures reliable motion detection by filtering out objects. This minimizes false alarms caused by objects such as pets, leaves, light, and other distracting objects. The advanced AI also supports fast searches from recorded video, as it can extract and classify people and vehicles from large amounts of video data.
Possibilities
The Dahua IPC-HDBW3541E-AS displays images in Full HD 2960x1668 resolution. The camera features a fixed 2.8mm lens. Thanks to Dahua Starlight Technology, this camera is ideal for applications with challenging lighting conditions. The highly light-sensitive image sensor delivers usable color images in minimal ambient light, even in near-total darkness (0.005 lux). In dark conditions, the built-in IR illumination can be activated, ensuring razor-sharp images even in complete darkness (0 lux). The IR illumination has a range of up to 50 meters.
The camera features 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows it to handle complex lighting conditions, such as backlight from the sun or car headlights, with ease. Footage can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR) or on a microSD card up to 256GB (not included).
Dahua offers a free Dutch app for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server accessible via a web browser. Free Video Management Software (VMS) for computers is also available on the Dahua website. Under the "Documentation" tab, you'll find a link to the manufacturer's product page.
The Dahua IPC-HDBW3541E-AS has an IP67 rating, making it ideal for outdoor use. It also boasts IK10 vandal resistance. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable using Power over Ethernet (PoE, 802.3af standard). Alternatively, it can be powered via an optional 12V adapter. Under the "Options" tab, you can specify whether an adapter and/or a Dahua mounting bracket should be included. The camera is adjustable in three axes, making it suitable for vertical wall mounting.
