The Dahua KTP01L(S)-B is a complete IP video doorbell kit from UMATECH, consisting of a VTO2201F-P and a VTH2421FB-P indoor monitor in a stylish black housing. This kit also includes a Dahua 4-port PoE switch (including power adapter) and a VTM115 surface-mounted housing for the outdoor station. Installation requires an additional network cable and a PC or Mac for initial configuration.
Possibilities
When the PoE switch is connected to your network and the internet, the UMA doorbell system can be controlled from anywhere in the world via a smartphone or tablet. Make audio and video calls with visitors and open a connected electric door lock or gate. An electric lock can be connected directly to the outdoor station. For added security, Dahua offers the Dahua DEE1010B relay for securely connecting an electric lock. For a second lock, the use of the external DEE1010B relay is required.
Dahua offers a free mobile app for iOS (iDMSS Plus) and Android (gDMSS Plus). The free SmartPSS software for Windows also allows you to control the intercom system from a PC. View live images from the outdoor station camera and optionally record them with a Network Video Recorder (NVR) or a NAS such as Synology Surveillance Station connected to the same network.
Images from IP cameras on the same network (possibly via an NVR) can be briefly displayed on the indoor monitor. Not every IP camera is compatible, but all IP cameras in our online store are. If the IP camera supports PoE power, it can also be connected to the PoE switch included in the kit (there are two available ports).
The KTP01L(S)-B intercom system is expandable with multiple outdoor stations and/or indoor monitors. The included switch has two additional available PoE ports. An additional chime can be connected to the indoor monitor. The system also has a built-in alarm system. Wired universal detectors can be connected to the monitor.
The indoor monitor comes with a wall bracket. A desk stand is also available as an option. Documentation for the KTP01L(S)-B can be found on our individual product pages and under the "Documentation" tab.
