The Dahua NVR2104HS-P-S3 is a PoE Network Video Recorder (NVR) that can connect up to four IP cameras for recording and managing Ultra 4K HD video footage. Its extensive functionality, ease of installation, and high usability make the NVR ideal for use in homes, shops, and businesses.
Possibilities
The NVR can connect up to four Full HD IP cameras via a wired connection. The NVR2104HS-P-S3 has four PoE ports, allowing the connected cameras to be powered via a single network cable. This makes installation very easy. The NVR can operate standalone or connected to the network. Access to the NVR is then available via a web browser, Dahua video management software, and the free Dahua app for smartphones and tablets.
The NVR supports cameras up to 12 megapixels and H.265 encoding for efficient bandwidth and storage usage. It also features Automatic Network Replenishment Technology (ANR): in the event of a network outage, footage is temporarily stored on a microSD card in the camera. Once the network is restored, the missing footage is automatically transferred to the NVR.
The NVR has HDMI and VGA outputs for connecting to a standard TV for displaying images, among other things. There's also a USB port for connecting the included mouse.
Hard drives
The NVR2104HS-P-S3 supports a 3.5-inch hard drive with a capacity of up to 16 terabytes. The recorder is shipped without a hard drive. We supply Western Digital Purple hard drives specifically designed for 24/7 surveillance. For hard drives, see the "Options" tab.
