The Dahua NVR4416-16P-EI is a 4K Ultra HD PoE Network Video Recorder (NVR) capable of connecting up to 16 IP cameras for recording and managing video footage. Its extensive functionality, ease of installation, and high usability make the NVR ideal for use in homes, shops, and businesses.
Possibilities
The NVR can connect up to 16 IP cameras, either wired or via the network. The Dahua NVR4416-16P-EI has 16 PoE ports, allowing the connected cameras to be powered via a single network cable. This makes installation very simple. The NVR can operate standalone or be connected to the network. Access to the NVR is then available via a web browser, Dahua video management software, and the free Dahua app for smartphones and tablets.
The NVR features an HDMI and VGA output with a maximum resolution of 3840x2160 (4K Ultra HD) for connecting to a standard TV for displaying images, among other things. There are also two USB ports for connecting devices such as a mouse.
The NVR4416-16P-EI supports cameras up to 16 megapixels. This WizSense series NVR supports various smart camera features, including face detection, facial recognition, Smart Motion Detection Plus (SMD), and Heat Map. Thanks to its AI capabilities, the NVR can categorize recorded footage by specific events and target types. This allows the NVR to automatically distinguish between people, animals, and vehicles when recording footage.
The NVR also supports ANPR and Quick Pick, making it ideal for license plate recording in combination with a suitable camera. To properly utilize the smart features, the appropriate camera must always be selected.
Hard drives
The Dahua NVR4416-16P-EI supports up to four 3.5-inch hard drives, each with a capacity of up to 16 terabytes. The Dahua NVR4416-16P-EI comes standard without a hard drive. A hard drive can be ordered separately under the "Options" tab. We supply Western Digital Purple hard drives specifically designed for 24/7 surveillance.
