The Dahua VTO3211D-P1-S2 is a surface-mounted 1-button IP video intercom outdoor station with a 2-megapixel camera and a Mifare card reader for controlling an electric door lock. The Dahua VTO3211D-P1-S2 can be easily powered with 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE). The outdoor station is vandal-resistant.
Possibilities
The outdoor station features a 2-megapixel HD camera with an ultra-wide 140-degree field of view and an ICR infrared filter for clear night vision. The Dahua VTO3211D-P is made of sturdy aluminum and has an IP65 rating for outdoor use. Naturally, the VTO3211D-P1-S2 also includes a sensitive omnidirectional microphone and a speaker for clear communication.
The VTO3211D-P can be used in combination with a Dahua indoor monitor or as a standalone device using just the free Dahua mobile app. Live images can be viewed at any time using the app or the indoor monitor. The outdoor station features a built-in relay that can be wired to an electric door lock to remotely unlock a door, or by using a Mifare card on the outdoor station. Compatible Mifare tags and cards can be found under the "Options" tab.
A separately available external RS485 relay (Dahua DEE1010B) can be connected to unlock a second door or, for example, a gate. The DEE1010B relay can also be used as the sole relay and installed inside the building for additional security. An exit button can be connected to the outdoor station to unlock a door for exit. Suitable exit buttons can be found in the "Access Control" category under "Access."
We have the latest firmware available in English, Italian, Spanish, French, Dutch, German, and Portuguese. The outdoor station can be configured and managed via the built-in web interface using a browser on a Windows PC. The VTO3211D-P1-S2 works with the free smartPSS Dahua Video Management Software (VMS) for Windows and the mobile app for iOS and Android. The VTO3211D-P can accommodate a microSD card up to 64GB for recording snapshots and audio/video messages. Uploading images to an FTP server is also possible. The camera's images can also be recorded to a Network Video Recorder (NVR).
Assembly
The Dahua VTO3211D-P1-S2 can be powered with a 12VDC adapter (not included) or with Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af). A suitable 12VDC adapter can be ordered separately under the "Options" tab. For ease of installation, we recommend ordering a female DC connector. This DC connector can be found under the "Options" tab. The "Options" tab also lists several suitable PoE injectors and switches. The Dahua VTO3211D-P cannot be connected to the Dahua VTNS1060A intercom switch.
