The UniFi U6+ is a powerful Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point designed for reliable wireless connectivity in both small businesses and modern homes. Thanks to its compact design and high throughput speeds, this access point offers excellent performance with minimal installation space.

Dimensions and Housing
The U6+ has a diameter of 160mm and a height of 33mm. It weighs 338g without the bracket and 413g with the bracket. The housing is constructed of polycarbonate and aluminum, while the mounting hardware consists of ABS and SGCC steel – a combination that ensures durability and a secure fit.

Hardware Specifications
The access point features one Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port for network connectivity and management via Ethernet. Power is supplied via PoE (Power over Ethernet), with a supported voltage range of 44–57V DC and a maximum power consumption of only 9W.
The U6+ operates within a temperature range of -30 to 60°C and a humidity range of 5–95% (non-condensing). LED indicators (white/blue) show status, and a reset button is available for factory defaults.
Certifications: CE, FCC, IC.

Wireless Performance
The UniFi U6+ supports dual-band WiFi with a 2x2 MIMO configuration:

  • 2.4 GHz: 573.5 Mbps with 3 dBi antenna gain
  • 5 GHz: 2402 Mbps with 5.4 dBi antenna gain
The maximum transmit power is 23 dBm on both bands, ensuring stable coverage and high speeds.

Software and Security
The U6+ supports Wi-Fi standards 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax (WiFi 4/5/6) and advanced security via WPA-PSK and WPA-Enterprise (WPA/WPA2/WPA3). Up to 8 BSSIDs can be configured per radio, with support for VLAN (802.1Q) and guest traffic isolation. The access point can serve more than 300 simultaneous clients.
Management is done through the UniFi Network application (v7.3.76 or later), which allows for easy centralized network configuration and monitoring.

Summary
The UniFi U6+ combines a compact design, efficient PoE power, and powerful Wi-Fi 6 performance. Ideal for those looking for a reliable, scalable, and secure wireless solution within the UniFi ecosystem.
