The UniFi U7 Outdoor , available from Umatech, is a powerful and robust WiFi 6/7 access point designed for outdoor use. With a rugged and weatherproof design, this device offers reliable performance under the most demanding conditions.

Construction and durability
The U7 Outdoor measures 170 x 208 x 54.5 mm and weighs 1.2 kg. The enclosure is constructed of UV-stabilized polycarbonate and aluminum alloy, while the mounting components are polycarbonate and SGCC steel. The pole mount supports pipes with an outer diameter of 25–60 mm. This access point is wind-resistant up to 74.6 N at 200 km/h (125 mph) and has an IPX6 rating for water and dust resistance.

Hardware features
The UniFi U7 Outdoor features one 1/2.5 GbE RJ45 network port and is managed via Ethernet. Power is supplied via PoE+ (42.5–57 V DC) with a maximum power consumption of 19 W, compatible with a UniFi PoE switch.

In terms of wireless performance, the device supports:

  • 2.4 GHz: 688 Mbps (BW40), TX power 23 dBm, MIMO 2x2, antenna gain 8 dBi (directional internal) / 3 dBi (external omni), beamwidth 90°

  • 5 GHz: 4.3 Gbps (BW240), TX power 26 dBm, MIMO 2x2, antenna gain 12.5 dBi (directional internal) / 4 dBi (external omni), beamwidth 45°

The access point is equipped with one directional internal antenna, two external omni antennas, and two RP-SMA connectors for additional antennas. Five LEDs provide visual status indicators and a factory reset button. It can be easily mounted on a wall, ceiling, or pole, and functions reliably in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C and relative humidity from 5% to 95% (non-condensing). The product is CE, FCC, and IC certified.

Software and connectivity
The U7 Outdoor supports the latest Wi-Fi standards 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be (WiFi 6 and WiFi 7) and offers comprehensive security options such as WPA-PSK, WPA/WPA2/WPA3 Enterprise, and PPSK. The device can manage up to 8 BSSIDs per radio, supports VLAN (802.1Q) and advanced QoS with per-user rate limiting. Guest traffic isolation is fully supported, and the access point can handle more than 200 simultaneous clients.

Is there a warranty on this product?

You naturally have the right to have your products working properly. If a product is defective, you are entitled to free repairs, a new product, or a refund. There is no statutory warranty period in the Netherlands. That's why we offer an extended warranty for each product. See below for the applicable warranty period for this product:

What happens if I change my mind?

Consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period. Within those 14 days, you can return your product without giving a reason, provided it meets the return policy .

How quickly do you ship?

At UMATECH, we work with a large network of suppliers and our own warehouse in the heart of Amsterdam. To offer our customers the widest possible range, we make strict agreements with suppliers and maintain stock in our warehouse. We work every weekday and ship orders daily at 5:00 PM for next-day delivery (usually). There are several options for your order:

1. Your product is in stock in Amsterdam: Great! If you order before 5 PM, we'll ship your order the same day.

2. Available from EU suppliers: Suppliers in Europe ship to our warehouse the same day before 12:00. If the shipping time is 2-3 days, it most likely means your order has to be shipped from a European country to our warehouse before we can process it.

3. Non-EU supplier: Sometimes it can take up to 10 days for an EU supplier to replenish their own stock. We, in turn, have to wait for that as well.

4. Available from non-EU suppliers: UMATECH also buys directly from the manufacturer. This is usually outside Europe and made-to-order. In other words, the items are only produced once we place the order. This means it takes several weeks for us to receive them. Can you wait that long? Great! If not, let us know and we'll discuss the options.

With over 5,000 products, we do our utmost to inform our customers as thoroughly as possible in advance. If something does take longer, we'll contact you immediately to discuss the options.
