The X-Security XS-V3211E is a 2-button outdoor station (network cable connection) with PoE and Mifare card reader. X-Security and Dahua products can be used together in an intercom system. The X-Security XS-V3211E is a surface-mounted IP video intercom 2-button outdoor station with a 2 megapixel camera and a Mifare card reader for operating an electric door lock. The Dahua VTO3211D-P2 can easily be powered with 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE). The outdoor station is vandal-resistant and is ideal for buildings with 2 apartments or, for example, a home office or practice. <strong>Capabilities</strong> The outdoor station has a 2 megapixel HD camera with a very wide field of view of 140 degrees and is equipped with an ICR infrared filter for good visibility in the dark. The X-Security XS-V3211E is made of sturdy aluminum and has an IP65 classification for outdoor use. Naturally, the X-Security XS-V3211E features a sensitive omnidirectional microphone and a speaker for clear conversation. The VTO can be used in combination with a Dahua or X-security indoor monitor, but can also be used stand alone with just the free Dahua mobile app. Live images can be viewed at any time with the app or indoor monitor. The outdoor station has a built-in relay that can be connected by wire to an electric door lock to remotely unlock a door or by a Mifare card on the outdoor station. Suitable Mifare tags and Mifare cards can be found under the 'Options' tab. An external RS485 relay (Dahua DEE1010B), available separately, can be connected to unlock a second door or, for example, a gate. The DEE1010B relay can also be used as the sole relay and placed inside the building for additional security. There is the option to connect an exit button to the outdoor station to unlock a door to go outside. The 'Access Control' category lists suitable exit buttons. Some suitable exit buttons are listed under 'Options'. The outdoor station can be configured and managed in the built-in web interface via a browser on a Windows PC. The VTO3211D-P2 works with the free smartPSS Dahua Video Management Software (VMS) for Windows and the mobile app for iOS and Android. The VTO3211D-P2 can accommodate a microSD card of up to 64GB for recording snapshots and audio/video messages. Uploading images to an FTP server is also possible. The camera images can also be recorded to a Network Video Recorder (NVR). <strong>Mounting</strong> The X-Security XS-V3211E can be powered with a 12VDC adapter (not included) or with Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af).
