The Dahua IPC-HDBW2241R-ZS is a Full HD 2-megapixel Starlight Lite AI dome camera with a highly light-sensitive image sensor and 40-meter infrared night vision. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the camera features 120dB WDR, PoE power, and local recording to a microSD card.
The camera belongs to the Dahua WizSense AI series and is equipped with an AI chip that supports intelligent features such as perimeter protection and Smart Motion Detection Plus (SMD Plus). SMD ensures reliable motion detection by filtering out distracting objects like pets, leaves, and light reflections. Thanks to the AI, the camera can recognize and classify people and vehicles, significantly speeding up the retrieval of recorded video footage.
Possibilities
The IPC-HDBW2241R-ZS delivers images in Full HD 1920x1080 resolution and features a 2.7–13.5 mm varifocal lens. Thanks to Dahua's Starlight technology, the camera performs exceptionally well in low-light conditions: color images are still possible at just 0.002 lux. In complete darkness, the camera switches to infrared night vision with a range of up to 40 meters.
With 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), the camera handles backlight conditions such as bright sunlight or headlights exceptionally well. Footage can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR) or locally on a microSD card up to 256GB (not included).
The camera is easy to access and manage via a web browser, a Dutch app (iOS and Android), or free VMS software on your PC. Thanks to its IP67 rating, it is fully weatherproof. Its IK10 vandal resistance also makes it suitable for hazardous locations.
The camera can be powered by PoE (Power over Ethernet, IEEE 802.3af) or an optional 12VDC adapter. It is adjustable in three axes, allowing for flexible mounting, including vertical mounting on a wall.
