The Dahua IPC-HDBW3241F-AS-S2 is a Full HD 2-megapixel wedge dome Starlight Lite AI camera with a highly light-sensitive image sensor and 30-meter infrared night vision, a built-in microphone, 120dB WDR, PoE power, and microSD recording for indoor or outdoor use. The camera belongs to the Dahua Lite AI series and features an artificial intelligence chip that supports intelligent functions such as perimeter protection and Smart Motion Detection Plus (SMD Plus). SMD ensures reliable motion detection by filtering out objects, minimizing false alarms caused by pets, leaves, light, and other distracting objects. The advanced AI also supports fast video searches by extracting and classifying people and vehicles from large amounts of video data.
Possibilities
The Dahua IPC-HDBW3241F-AS-S2 displays images in Full HD 1920x1080 resolution and features a fixed lens. Thanks to Dahua Starlight Technology, the camera is ideal for low-light applications. The highly light-sensitive image sensor delivers usable color images even in near darkness (0.002 lux). In dark conditions, the camera automatically switches to its built-in infrared illuminator, delivering sharp images even in complete darkness (0 lux). The IR range is 30 meters.
The camera features 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and can easily handle complex lighting conditions such as backlight or headlights. Footage can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR) or a microSD card (up to 256GB, not included). The built-in microphone enables audio recording.
Dahua offers a free Dutch app for iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server accessible via a web browser. Free Video Management Software (VMS) for PCs is available on the Dahua website. The camera has an IP67 outdoor rating and an IK10 vandal resistance rating.
For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE, 802.3af standard) or an optional 12V adapter. The camera is adjustable in three axes and therefore also suitable for vertical wall mounting.
