The Dahua IPC-HDW3441EMP-S-S2 is a Full HD 4-megapixel eyeball Starlight Lite AI camera with a highly light-sensitive image sensor and 50-meter infrared night vision, a built-in microphone, 120dB WDR, PoE power, and microSD recording for indoor or outdoor use. The camera belongs to the Dahua Lite AI series and features an artificial intelligence chip that supports intelligent functions such as perimeter protection and Smart Motion Detection Plus (SMD Plus). SMD ensures reliable motion detection by filtering out objects, minimizing false alarms caused by things like pets, leaves, or light. The advanced AI also allows for the extraction and classification of people and vehicles from large amounts of video data, enabling rapid searching of recordings.
Possibilities
The Dahua IPC-HDW3441EMP-S-S2 delivers images in Full HD resolution of 2688x1520 pixels. The camera has a fixed lens and features Dahua Starlight technology, making it excellent in low-light conditions. Thanks to its highly light-sensitive sensor, the camera delivers usable color images even in near darkness (0.005 lux). In complete darkness (0 lux), the IR illumination switches on automatically, with a range of up to 50 meters.
The camera features 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), making it suitable for backlit situations such as sunlight or headlights. Footage can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR) or a microSD card up to 256GB (not included).
The built-in microphone enables audio recording. Dahua offers a free Dutch app for Apple iOS and Android. The camera includes an internal web server for browser-based management, and free Video Management Software (VMS) for computers is available through the Dahua website.
The camera has an IP67 rating, making it ideal for outdoor use. Power can be supplied via Power over Ethernet (PoE – 802.3af) or an optional 12VDC adapter. The camera is adjustable on three axes, making it easy to mount vertically on a wall.
