The Dahua IPC-HDW5442TP-ZE-B is the black version of the IPC-HDW5442TP-ZE. The turret camera is a Full HD 4-megapixel Starlight WizMind eyeball camera with a highly light-sensitive image sensor and 40-meter infrared night vision, a built-in microphone, 140dB WDR, PoE power, and microSD recording capability for indoor or outdoor use.
Possibilities
The Dahua IPC-HDW5442TP-ZE displays images in Full HD 2688x1520 resolution. The camera features a motorized varifocal lens. It also features Dahua Starlight Technology, making it ideal for applications with challenging lighting conditions. Thanks to its highly light-sensitive image sensor, the camera delivers usable color images with minimal ambient light, even in near-total darkness (0.003 lux). The camera has a built-in automatic day/night IR cut filter and can also activate its built-in IR illumination in dark conditions, delivering razor-sharp images even in complete darkness (0 lux). The IR illumination has a very long range of up to 40 meters.
The camera features 140dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows it to handle complex lighting conditions such as backlighting or car headlights with exceptional ease. Footage can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other devices. The camera also offers in-camera recording to a microSD card up to 256GB (not included). The camera also has a built-in microphone.
Dahua offers a free Dutch app for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed with a web browser. The Dahua IPC-HDW5442TP-ZE has an IP67 rating, making it ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable using Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af PoE). PoE can be supplied through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch, or a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter.
Under the "Options" tab, you can specify whether an adapter and/or Dahua mounting bracket should be included. The camera is adjustable on three axes, making it ideal for vertical wall mounting.
