The Dahua IPC-HFW5541E-Z5E is a Full HD 5-megapixel bullet Starlight Lite AI camera with a highly light-sensitive image sensor and 120-meter infrared night vision, 120dB WDR, PoE power, and microSD recording for indoor or outdoor use. The camera features artificial intelligence technologies to improve image quality and smart features such as perimeter protection, face detection, smart sound detection, and people counting.
The camera belongs to the Dahua Wizmind S series, featuring an AI chip that supports intelligent features such as perimeter protection and Smart Motion Detection 3.0. SMD technology ensures reliable motion detection by filtering out distracting objects like pets, leaves, or light. The advanced AI also enables quick searches through recorded video by automatically recognizing and classifying people and vehicles.
Possibilities
The Dahua IPC-HFW5541E-Z5E displays images at a resolution of 2960x1668. The camera features a motorized varifocal lens and Starlight technology, allowing it to deliver color images even in very low light (down to 0.005 lux). In complete darkness, the built-in IR illuminator activates with a range of up to 120 meters.
Thanks to 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), the camera performs well in complex lighting conditions, such as backlight.
The smart features include:
Perimeter Protection : distinguishing between humans and animals
Face Detection : facial recognition
Smart Sound Detection : detects sounds such as shouting or breaking glass
People Counting : counts people upon entry and exit
Video Metadata : analyzes vehicles and people in footage
Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR) or on a microSD card up to 512GB (not included).
The camera is IP67 rated (waterproof) and vandal-resistant (IK10). It can be powered via a network cable using Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af) or an optional 12V adapter.
Dahua offers free Dutch language apps for iOS and Android, and free Video Management Software (VMS) for PC.
Under the 'Options' tab a power supply and/or mounting bracket can be selected.
