The Dahua VTO2101E-P-S2 is a vandal-resistant doorbell camera with a mobile app or can be used as an outdoor station in a Dahua intercom system with one or more indoor monitors. The Dahua VTO2101E-P features IR night vision, SIP protocol, a rotating lens, and the option to be powered via the network cable with PoE.
Possibilities
The outdoor station features a 720p HD camera with an extremely wide 100-degree horizontal field of view. The viewing direction can be rotated 45 degrees to the left or right. The doorbell is equipped with an ICR infrared filter for clear images. Naturally, the VTO2101E-P also features a sensitive omnidirectional microphone and a speaker for crisp audio. In addition to the mobile app, the VTO2101E-P can be used with one or more Dahua intercom indoor monitors. As soon as the doorbell button is pressed, the outdoor station sends an instant push notification to the smartphone and rings any indoor monitor. Live images can be viewed at any time using the app or indoor monitor.
The outdoor station can be configured and managed via the built-in web interface using a browser on a Windows PC. The VTO2101E-P works with the free SmartPSS Dahua Video Management Software (VMS) for Windows. It is possible to record images via the RTSP video stream to a NAS (e.g., Synology via Surveillance Station) or Network Video Recorder (NVR). The outdoor station has a built-in relay that can be wired to an electric door lock to remotely unlock a door. A separately available external RS485 relay (Dahua DEE1010B) can be connected to unlock a second door or, for example, a gate. The DEE1010B relay can also be used as the sole relay and installed inside the building for additional security.
The Dahua VTO2101E-P also has an alarm input and a tamper switch. Dutch firmware is currently not available. The firmware is in English. The VTO2101E-P has SIP functionality in the standard firmware. We do not offer technical support for SIP functionality.
Assembly
The Dahua VTO2101E-P has a robust metal housing with an IK10 rating for protection against external mechanical influences (vandal-resistant / EN 62262 standard). The doorbell is a surface-mounted model. The Dahua VTO2101E-P can be powered with a 12VDC adapter (not included) or with Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af). A suitable 12VDC adapter can be ordered separately under the "Options" tab. For ease of installation, we recommend ordering a female DC connector. The "Options" tab lists several suitable PoE injectors and switches. The Dahua VTO2101E-P cannot be connected to the Dahua VTNS1060A intercom switch.
