The Dahua VTO2211G-WP is a wireless Wi-Fi intercom outdoor station with a Mifare card reader for controlling an electric door lock. The outdoor station can be used with the free Dahua DMSS mobile app, allowing audio/video conversations to be held anywhere in the world. A Dahua indoor intercom monitor can also be used. The Dahua VTO2211G-WP features SIP firmware.
Possibilities
The outdoor station features a 2-megapixel Full HD camera with a 125-degree horizontal field of view and is equipped with infrared illumination and an ICR infrared filter for clear visibility in the dark. The VTO2211G-WP boasts a 120dB wide dynamic range, providing usable images even in backlit conditions. The Dahua VTO2211G-WP is made of durable plastic and is IP65-rated for outdoor use. Naturally, the VTO2211G-WP also includes a sensitive omnidirectional microphone and a speaker for clear communication.
In addition to the mobile app, the VTO2211G-WP can be used with one or more Dahua intercom indoor monitors. As soon as the doorbell button is pressed, the outdoor station sends an immediate push notification to the smartphone and rings an indoor monitor. Live images can be viewed at any time using the app or an indoor monitor.
The outdoor station has a built-in relay that can be wired to an electric door lock to unlock a door remotely, or by inserting a Mifare card into the outdoor station. Suitable Mifare tags and cards can be found under the "Options" tab.
A separately available external RS485 relay (Dahua DEE1010B) can be connected to unlock a second door or, for example, a gate. The DEE1010B relay can also be used as the sole relay and installed inside the building for additional security. An exit button can be connected to the outdoor station to unlock a door for exit.
The outdoor station can be configured and managed via the built-in web interface using a browser on a Windows PC or Mac. The VTO2211G-WP is compatible with the free smartPSS Dahua Video Management Software (VMS). The VTO2211G-WP does not support microSD card slots. Snapshots and audio/video messages can be recorded to an indoor intercom monitor with a microSD card. The camera's images can be recorded to a Network Video Recorder (NVR).
Assembly
The Dahua VTO2211G-WP can be powered with a 12VDC adapter (not included) or with Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af). A suitable 12VDC adapter can be ordered separately under the "Options" tab. For ease of installation, we recommend ordering a female DC connector. This DC connector can be found under the "Options" tab. A suitable PoE injector is also available under the "Options" tab. The Dahua VTO2211G-WP cannot be connected to the Dahua VTNS1060A intercom switch or to an NVR PoE output.
