The Dahua VTO2311R-WP is a wireless Wi-Fi intercom outdoor station with a Mifare card reader for controlling an electric door lock. The outdoor station can be used with the free Dahua DMSS mobile app, allowing audio/video conversations to be held anywhere in the world. A Dahua indoor intercom monitor can also be used. A suitable indoor monitor can be found under "Related." The Dahua VTO2311R-WP has SIP firmware.
Possibilities
The outdoor station features a 2-megapixel Full HD camera with a 110-degree horizontal field of view and is equipped with infrared illumination and an ICR infrared filter for clear visibility in the dark. The VTO2311R-WP boasts a 120dB Wide Dynamic Range, providing usable images even in backlit conditions. The plastic housing is IP65-rated for outdoor use. Although IP65-rated, it is recommended to position the outdoor station away from direct contact with water.
The VTO2311R-WP features a sensitive omnidirectional microphone and speaker for clear communication. In addition to using the app, the system can be paired with one or more Dahua indoor monitors. When the doorbell button is pressed, the outdoor station sends a push notification to a smartphone and rings an indoor monitor. Live images can be viewed at any time via the app or a monitor.
The outdoor station has a built-in relay for connecting to an electric door lock, which can be opened remotely via the app, an intercom monitor, or with a Mifare card. Suitable Mifare tags and cards can be found under the "Related" tab. For a second door or gate, an external RS485 relay (Dahua DEE1010B) can be connected. This relay can also be installed indoors for additional security.
An exit button can be connected to the outdoor station to open a door to the outside. Configuration and management are possible via the built-in web interface using a browser on Windows or Mac. The VTO2311R-WP works with the free smartPSS Dahua Video Management Software (VMS).
The outdoor station can accommodate a microSD card up to 256 GB for storing images, snapshots, and audio/video messages. Images can also be saved to a Network Video Recorder (NVR).
Assembly
The Dahua VTO2311R-WP can be powered via a 12VDC adapter (not included) or via Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af). A suitable 12VDC adapter can be ordered under the "Options" tab. For ease of installation, a female DC connector is recommended (can be found under "Related"). A suitable PoE injector is also available under "Options."
