The UNI-T UT387B is a reliable wall scanner , specially designed for professionals in construction, finishing, and installation technology . This compact detector locates hidden objects behind walls and floors, such as metal pipes, electrical conduits, and wooden beams – helping to prevent damage and dangerous situations while drilling or milling.

The UT387B is optimized for use on drywall , but also works excellently on surfaces such as hardwood floors, plywood , and coated wood walls . It detects ferrous metals (such as steel and iron), non-ferrous metals (such as copper and aluminum), live wires , and wood framing .

Detection depths:

  • Ferrous metals: up to 80 mm
  • Non-ferrous metals: up to 80 mm
  • Live copper conductors: up to 50 mm
  • Wood: up to 20 mm

Thanks to the clear display and audible alert, you can immediately see and hear where you can and cannot drill. An indispensable tool for renovations, installations, or finishing work.

Is there a warranty on this product?

What happens if I change my mind?

Consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period. Within those 14 days, you can return your product without giving a reason, provided it meets the return policy .

How quickly do you ship?

At UMATECH, we work with a large network of suppliers and our own warehouse in the heart of Amsterdam. To offer our customers the widest possible range, we make strict agreements with suppliers and maintain stock in our warehouse. We work every weekday and ship orders daily at 5:00 PM for next-day delivery (usually). There are several options for your order:

1. Your product is in stock in Amsterdam: Great! If you order before 5 PM, we'll ship your order the same day.

2. Available from EU suppliers: Suppliers in Europe ship to our warehouse the same day before 12:00. If the shipping time is 2-3 days, it most likely means your order has to be shipped from a European country to our warehouse before we can process it.

3. Non-EU supplier: Sometimes it can take up to 10 days for an EU supplier to replenish their own stock. We, in turn, have to wait for that as well.

4. Available from non-EU suppliers: UMATECH also buys directly from the manufacturer. This is usually outside Europe and made-to-order. In other words, the items are only produced once we place the order. This means it takes several weeks for us to receive them. Can you wait that long? Great! If not, let us know and we'll discuss the options.

With over 5,000 products, we do our utmost to inform our customers as thoroughly as possible in advance. If something does take longer, we'll contact you immediately to discuss the options.

Can I pay by invoice?

Regular business customers can pay by invoice. A customized arrangement will be made for this. Therefore, if you are interested, please email us at info@uma-tech.com.
