The Ajax FireProtect 2 AC White Jeweller with heat detector is an essential part of an Ajax alarm system. Ajax is a leading security technology brand offering advanced, reliable solutions for homes and businesses, with straightforward installation and operation.
With the Ajax app you receive instant notifications of alarms and events, can view live video streams (if cameras are integrated) and check the status of all your security devices. The app provides detailed information and is easy to manage with multiple devices and users.
Features
The Ajax FireProtect 2 AC White protects your premises against fire. The heat detector sends an alert within one second when it detects a rapid rise in temperature and has a built-in 85 dB alarm. This model is fitted with a heat sensor but has no smoke or carbon monoxide sensor. Thanks to the pre-installed SmartBracket with WAGO 221 terminal, installation is very simple.
The device uses the Jeweller radio protocol for fast data exchange between the Ajax system components. The FireProtect 2 AC White is wireless and can be installed up to 1,700 metres (line of sight) from the hub; this range can be extended with range extenders. It runs on 110–240 V mains power and has a backup battery with an expected service life of ten years, so it keeps working during power cuts.
The FireProtect 2 AC White offers tamper protection and runs regular self-tests to report any problems immediately. This fire detector is ideal for homes, offices and shops.
The package contains the Ajax FireProtect 2 AC White, including backup battery and mounting panel. See the datasheet in the Documentation tab for further specifications.
