Ajax MotionCam PhOD – Wireless PIR Detector with Photo Camera – 12 m

The Ajax MotionCam PhOD is part of the Ajax Baseline alarm system. Ajax is a leading company in security solutions, offering reliable, effective protection for both residential and commercial customers. Its systems are easy to install and operate, and Ajax Security Systems is known for high-quality products that meet the strictest standards and requirements. With the free app you communicate with the central hub, which supports up to fifty users and a hundred devices. The app sends you notifications of alarms and events, lets you watch live video (if cameras are integrated) and shows the status of all security devices. It is easy to manage with multiple devices and users.

Features
The Ajax MotionCam PhOD is more than a standard motion sensor: it is a smart wireless security device that takes your protection to the next level. It is a wireless IR motion detector with a photo camera and tamper protection, capturing clear images even in low light. The Ajax MotionCam PhOD works exclusively with the Ajax Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus, Hub Hybrid or Hub Hybrid 2 and must be connected within 1700 metres of the hub. The sensor uses passive infrared (PIR) technology for motion detection up to 12 metres. The camera is activated immediately when motion is detected and sends photos of the event to the hub within seconds. A photo series consists of up to five images, which on the PhOD version can be taken on alarm, by scenario or on demand, and are shared with users within nine seconds. An advanced algorithm distinguishes between people, objects and animals.

The MotionCam PhOD comes with four pre-installed batteries that last up to four years (up to 3.5 years when using Photo on Demand). PhOD stands for Photo On Demand: you can receive photos not only when an alarm is triggered, but also on request via the Ajax app. This product includes the Ajax MotionCam PhOD, batteries and mounting panel; a bracket is optional. Please refer to the datasheet in the Documentation tab for further specifications.
