With the Ajax app you receive notifications of alarms and events, view live video streams (if cameras are integrated) and check the status of all your security devices. The app provides detailed information and is easy to manage with multiple devices and users.
Features
The Ajax WaterStop Black 1/2" is a compact wireless water shut-off valve with a 1/2" (21.3 mm) connection that can easily be fitted to existing pipework. It lets you close the valve remotely within five seconds, working together with the Ajax LeaksProtect or a third-party water leak detector, to prevent leaks and flooding. The powerful actuator closes the valve quickly and efficiently. The Ajax WaterStop must be installed within 1,100 m (line of sight) of the Ajax Hub.
The Ajax WaterStop is suitable for both homes and larger buildings. In the Ajax app, where the entire alarm system is managed, you can define the rooms in which the Ajax LeaksProtect detectors are located. This allows you to respond quickly and automatically to leaks in your building.
You manage the Ajax WaterStop entirely in the Ajax app: receive notifications, set up scenarios and switch the valve on and off. The device also has its own on/off button. The valve complies with ISO 5211 and is protected against overheating up to 120 °C. The housing is rated IP56 and has tamper protection, and the system is suitable for both cold and hot water pipes.
The Ajax WaterStop is made of solid brass and comes with four pre-installed batteries with a maximum service life of three years. The device can also be powered by a 9–12 V power supply. The system is protected against fraud, tampering and jamming, and is supplied with a Bonomi Industries shut-off valve.
