The Dahua ASI6213J-MW is a standalone access controller with face recognition, card reader and 4.3-inch touchscreen, suitable for indoor and outdoor use. You open the door with your face, an IC card, a PIN code or a combination of these. The 2 MP dual-lens wide-angle camera with DWDR and automatic white and IR illumination recognises faces at a distance of 0.3 to 1.5 metres in 0.3 seconds, with 99.5% accuracy and liveness detection. The controller stores 6,000 users, faces, cards and passwords and 150,000 records.
User data is stored in the device itself, so it also works without a network connection. Configuration is done via the web interface, and you connect the controller to your network via its network port; OSDP is supported. An additional reader can be connected via RS485 or Wiegand, and there are connections for an exit button, door contact, lock control and an alarm input, plus a USB port. Functions such as time-period unlocking, first-card unlock, multi-user unlock, anti-passback and remote verification are built in. An alarm is triggered on tampering, duress, intrusion, a door held open too long or too many invalid cards. Power is supplied via 12 V DC; the housing is rated IP65 and is wall-mounted with a bracket.
