The Dahua ASM202 is a desktop fingerprint reader for enrolling fingerprints on a PC. You connect it via USB and register users' fingerprints at your desk instead of at the reader on the door. The sensor works at a resolution of 500 DPI with an 18 × 15 mm capture window.

A fingerprint is captured within 350 ms and matched within 1.5 seconds. The reader has a FAR of max. 0.0001% and an FRR of max. 0.014%. It is intended for indoor use, operates from 0 °C to +55 °C and is CE and FCC certified. The housing measures 87.55 × 66.64 × 40 mm.
