The camera is part of the Dahua WizSense AI series and contains an AI chip for functions such as perimeter protection and Smart Motion Detection Plus (SMD Plus). This technology delivers reliable motion detection by filtering out irrelevant objects, reducing false alarms. AI also makes searching video footage efficient, as people and vehicles are automatically recognised and classified.
Features
The camera delivers Full HD images at a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The fixed 2.8 mm lens and Dahua Starlight technology produce clear colour images in very low light (down to 0.002 lux). In total darkness the camera automatically switches to IR illumination with a range of up to 30 m. Built-in 120 dB WDR technology makes the camera suitable for scenes with strong backlight, such as sunlight or headlights.
Recordings can be stored on an NVR or on a microSD card of up to 256 GB (not included). A free app is available for iOS and Android, and the camera can also be accessed in a browser via its built-in web server. Dahua offers free Video Management Software (VMS) for PCs.
The camera is IP67 waterproof and IK10 vandal-resistant. It is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE – 802.3af) or optionally via a 12 V adapter. The camera is adjustable on three axes, making wall mounting easy.
