This rugged camera is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and features a light-sensitive Starlight image sensor, a resolution of 2688 × 1520 pixels and night vision up to 50 m thanks to powerful infrared illumination.
AI functions and reliability
The built-in AI chip supports perimeter protection and Smart Motion Detection Plus (SMD Plus). SMD filters for people and vehicles, minimising false alarms caused by pets, leaves or changing light. AI also enables fast video search through object classification.
Image quality and performance
Dahua's Starlight technology delivers a sharp image even in challenging light. Usable colour images are available down to 0.005 lux. In complete darkness the camera switches automatically to infrared, with a range of 50 m. 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) handles backlight such as bright sunlight or headlights.
Storage and connectivity
Recordings can be stored on a network video recorder (NVR) or directly on a microSD card up to 256 GB (not included). The camera supports ONVIF and can be managed via the built-in web server, Dahua VMS software or the free app for iOS and Android.
Installation and durability
The camera is easy to install and adjustable on three axes for flexible wall or ceiling mounting. It is powered by PoE (802.3af) or an optional 12 V DC adapter. IP67 makes it fully weatherproof, and the IK10 housing makes it vandal resistant.
