The camera delivers images in Full HD 1920x1080 resolution. Thanks to Dahua Starlight technology, the camera is particularly well suited to low-light environments. The highly light-sensitive image sensor still delivers usable colour images in near-total darkness (0.009 lux). The camera has an automatic day/night IR-cut filter and built-in infrared illumination for sharp images even in complete darkness (0 lux). The IR illumination has a range of 20 m.
The camera offers 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), making it suitable for difficult lighting conditions such as backlight from the sun or headlights. Footage can be stored on an NVR or locally on a microSD card of up to 128 GB. A microphone is built in.
Dahua offers a free app for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server and can be managed via a web browser. Free video management software (VMS) is also available from the Dahua website. The camera is IP67-rated and therefore very well suited to outdoor use.
The camera is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE, 802.3af) or optionally via a 12 V adapter. It is adjustable on three axes, which makes wall mounting easier.
