Dahua SD1A404DB-GNY – 4 MP PTZ Dome Camera – 4x Zoom – Starlight – PoE

The Dahua SD1A404DB-GNY is a 4 MP pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) dome camera from the WizSense series with Starlight technology for indoor or outdoor use. The camera features audio input/output, 4x optical zoom and 120 dB WDR, and can record internally to a microSD card (not included). It can pan, tilt and zoom and is well suited to homes, offices, restaurants, hotels and commercial premises.

Features
The Dahua SD1A404DB-GNY delivers images at a resolution of 2560 × 1440. Dahua Starlight technology makes it ideal for challenging lighting conditions, and the camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter. Thanks to the highly light-sensitive image sensor, the camera still delivers usable images with minimal ambient light, even in near-total darkness (0.005 lux). It offers built-in infrared night vision up to 20 metres and 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), so it copes very well with complex lighting such as backlight from the sun or car headlights. The camera has Dahua SMD 3.0 Smart Motion Detection, whose advanced object recognition and analysis algorithms accurately distinguish people from other objects such as animals and vehicles, minimising false alarms.

Images can be stored on a network video recorder (NVR), among other options. The camera can also record internally to a microSD memory card of up to 512 GB. Dahua offers a free app for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has a built-in web server that can be accessed and managed via a web browser, and free Video Management Software (VMS) for PC can be downloaded from the Dahua website. The Documentation tab includes a link to the manufacturer's product page, among other things. With its IP66 rating the SD1A404DB-GNY is suitable for outdoor use, and it is also vandal-resistant (IK08). Suitable mounting brackets can be found in the options on this page. For easy installation, the camera can be powered over the network cable using Power over Ethernet (802.3af PoE), supplied by a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or a PoE injector. Alternatively, it can be powered by an optional 12 V DC power adapter.
