The Dahua VTO4202F-MR is a card reader module for the modular IP intercom system of the VTO4202F series. With this half-size module of 100 × 50 mm, you open the door with a 13.56 MHz IC card or tag (MIFARE), held 1 to 3 cm from the reader. The housing is made of silver-coloured aluminium alloy, is vandal-resistant (IK07) and suitable for outdoor use thanks to IP65.
The module does not need its own power supply: it receives 5 V DC from the other modules and passes this voltage on to the next module. You combine it with a camera module and other modules from the same VTO4202F series, such as a keypad, indicator or push-button module. The complete unit can be surface- or flush-mounted using the VTM125 (2 modules) or VTM126 (3 modules) mounting plates and the VTM127 (2 modules) or VTM128 (3 modules) back boxes, available separately. To achieve IP65, seal the joints between the unit and the wall with silicone sealant during installation. Power consumption is max. 2 W and the module operates at temperatures from -30 °C to +60 °C.
