The Hikvision DS-2CD2046G2-I is a 4 MP mini bullet camera from the AcuSense series, in the (C) version with a fixed 2.8 mm lens. Its wide 103° field of view makes it well suited to driveways, façades and entrances. Thanks to the 1/3" sensor and DarkFighter technology, the image stays sharp in low light, and in darkness the IR night vision lets you see up to 40 metres. With 120 dB WDR you still see detail against bright backlight. The housing is water- and dustproof (IP67).
AcuSense uses deep learning to distinguish between people, vehicles and other movement. You only receive relevant alerts for line crossing, intrusion into a zone, and region entrance and exit, and the camera also supports face capture. You can record to an NVR, a NAS or directly to a microSD card of up to 512 GB, with H.265+ compression for lower storage and bandwidth use. The camera is powered via PoE (802.3af) or 12 V DC. This -I version has no built-in microphone; for that, choose the -IU variant.
