The Hikvision DS-2CD2343G2-I with 2.8 mm lens is a 4-megapixel turret camera from the AcuSense series for indoor and outdoor use. The fixed 2.8 mm F1.6 lens gives a wide horizontal field of view of 103°. IR night vision up to 30 m delivers images in the dark, while 120 dB WDR, BLC, HLC and 3D DNR keep the picture clear in backlight and low light. The aluminium housing is waterproof (IP67).
AcuSense uses deep learning to recognise people and vehicles, so you get fewer false alarms from line crossing and intrusion detection. The camera also supports face detection and tamper alarm. You can record to an NVR, a NAS or a microSD card up to 256 GB, with H.265+ compression to save storage and bandwidth. Power is supplied via PoE (802.3af) or 12 V DC. You view the footage via Hik-Connect, iVMS-4200 or HikCentral, and thanks to ONVIF the camera also works with recorders from other brands. This -I version has no microphone; if you need one, choose the DS-2CD2343G2-IU.
