The Hikvision DS-KD-BK is a blank module for the second-generation modular Hikvision video intercom system. Use it to cover an empty slot in the mounting enclosure of a door station, for example if your enclosure holds more modules than you currently need. The module is black, waterproof to IP65 and has the same dimensions as the other modules: 98.5 × 100 × 33.7 mm.
The DS-KD-BK belongs to the same modular series as the main camera modules and the extension modules, and can be used in both IP and 2-wire door stations. You fit it in the DS-KD-ACF flush-mount kit or the DS-KD-ACW surface-mount enclosure, just like a regular module. If you want to add a function later, such as a keypad, display, card reader or indicator module, simply replace the blank module with that module. The mounting enclosure is supplied separately.
