The Hikvision DS-KD-TDM is a touchscreen display module with a built-in MIFARE card reader for Hikvision's second-generation modular video intercom system. On the 4-inch IPS screen (480 × 480 pixels, brightness adjustable up to 500 cd/m²), visitors can dial a number or search the contact list, while residents open the door with a PIN code or MIFARE card (13.56 MHz, reading distance 2 cm). The module is waterproof to IP65 and impact-resistant to IK08.
The module stores and searches up to 2000 contacts, and the screen can also display advertising or information. The interface is available in more than 40 languages. You connect the module to the other modules of the door station via the two cascade connections; the 12 V DC power supply comes from the main module and power consumption is max. 4 W. Configuration is done with the 8-bit DIP switch. The module can be flush- or surface-mounted; the mounting enclosure is sold separately.
