The Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1(B)/S is the main module of Hikvision's modular IP intercom system: a door station with a 2-megapixel camera, call button, loudspeaker and microphone in one compact module. The fisheye lens covers a large part of the entrance, with a horizontal field of view of 146° and a vertical field of view of 82°. IR illumination and WDR deliver usable images in low light and strong backlight. The module is IP65 waterproof and operates from -40 °C to +60 °C.

The door station has two relays for controlling door locks, four alarm inputs (by default two for an exit button and two for door contacts) and a 12 V DC output for an electric lock. Via RS-485 you can connect additional Hikvision sub-modules, such as a card reader or extra call buttons. Power is supplied via PoE (802.3af) or 12 V DC, with a maximum consumption of 5 W. You connect the door station to Hikvision indoor monitors and configure it via the web interface. A surface-mount or flush-mount frame (DS-KD-ACW or DS-KD-ACF series) must be ordered separately.
