The Hikvision DS-PDCL12-EG2-WE is a wireless ceiling-mounted PIR motion detector from the AX PRO series. It covers a 360° area with a range of up to 12 metres and 172 detection zones, and is installed indoors at a height of 2.4 to 4 metres. The detector features digital signal processing, digital temperature compensation, creep zone protection, sealed optics and a white light filter up to 6500 lux.
Communication with the AX PRO hub runs via Tri-X Wireless: two-way, AES-128 encrypted, on 868 MHz, with a range of up to 1.6 km line of sight. Frequency hopping ensures a reliable connection. You can enrol the detector by powering it on, via remote ID or by QR code, and adjust all settings remotely in the app. The detector runs on a single CR123A battery with a service life of up to 5 years at 20 activations per day. It also has front and rear tamper protection and indicators for signal strength and ambient temperature.
