The Hikvision DS-PDHT-E-WE is a wireless heat detector for the AX PRO alarm system. It uses a temperature sensor and triggers an alarm as soon as the ambient temperature exceeds 57 °C, making it suitable as an aid to fire detection in rooms such as the kitchen. In an alarm, the built-in buzzer sounds at a minimum of 85 dB at 3 m and the red alarm LED lights up. The detector is mounted indoors on the ceiling.
Communication with the hub is two-way via Tri-X on 868 MHz, with AES-128 encryption and frequency hopping, and a range of up to 1.6 km line of sight. The detector has two power sources: the sensor itself runs on two non-replaceable Energizer L91 batteries with a service life of up to 10 years, while the wireless part uses a replaceable CR123A battery that lasts up to 5 years. A self-test, signal strength indicator and linked alarm sounding are included. Enrolment is done at power-up, via remote ID or by QR code, and you configure the detector in the Hikvision app.
