The Hikvision DS-PDPC12PF-EG2-WE(B) in black is a wireless PIR motion detector with a built-in ColorVu camera for the AX PRO alarm system. When an alarm is triggered, you can see immediately what is going on, as the detector captures colour images – even in the dark, thanks to white-light illumination up to 12 metres. It detects motion up to 12 metres with a detection angle of 85.9° and is pet immune up to 30 kg. The detector is designed for indoor use and runs on batteries for up to 6 years (standby).
When an alarm occurs, the camera captures up to 20 images, which are combined into a GIF and sent to your smartphone. You can also request a photo manually via the Hik-Connect app. The camera has a field of view of 88° horizontal and 68° vertical and takes JPEG images up to 640 × 480. The connection to the hub uses CAM-X two-way wireless on 868 MHz with AES-128 encryption and a range of up to 800 metres line of sight. Mount the detector on the wall at a height of 1.8 to 2.4 metres; a wall or ceiling bracket is optional.
