The Hikvision DS-PM1-D is a power supply module (PSU module) for the AX PRO alarm panel. This adapter board lets you power the panel from a DC source instead of the mains, for example from a 12 V DC power supply. The module accepts an input voltage of 8 to 24 V DC and supplies 5.5 V DC to the panel at up to 2 A. The board is compact (80 × 90 × 15 mm) and weighs just 35 g.
During installation, the DS-PM1-D replaces the original small power supply board on the AX PRO mainboard. Disconnect the panel from power, remove the mounting plate and the rear cover, take the boards out of the housing and remove the original power supply from the mainboard. Then fit the PSU module onto the mainboard via the pin connector, secure the boards again and reconnect the power supply and network cable. The module operates at temperatures from -10 °C to +55 °C and 10% to 90% humidity (non-condensing). Have any wiring work carried out by a qualified person.
