The Hikvision DS-PT1-WE is a wireless tag reader for the AX PRO alarm system. With a MIFARE tag (13.56 MHz) you can fully arm, partially arm (stay) or disarm the alarm per area, without entering a code. The reader uses two-way communication on 868 MHz with AES-128 encryption and has a range of up to 1200 metres line of sight.
Five LED indicators clearly show the status for area, fault, arming, disarming, alarm and signal strength. When arming, the reader first checks for faults, so you do not accidentally arm the system while there is a problem. You can also use the reader for patrol checks with a tag. The white housing measures 75 × 124 × 21 mm, is wall-mounted and has front and rear tamper protection. The reader runs on 3 AA batteries with a battery life of up to 2 years in standby.
