The Hikvision HWI-T249H is a 4 MP turret (eyeball) camera from the HiWatch series with ColorVu technology and a fixed 2.8 mm lens. ColorVu combines a highly light-sensitive F1.0 lens with warm white light, so you get colour images at night instead of black and white. The white light reaches up to 30 m, and with a 96.5° horizontal field of view you can monitor a wide area. The camera is waterproof to IP67 and suitable for outdoor use.
With 120 dB WDR, BLC and 3D DNR, the image stays clear in backlight and low light. H.265+ compression saves bandwidth and storage on your NVR. The camera supports motion detection, tamper detection and exception alerts, and on an event it can send an email, take a snapshot or upload via FTP. Power is supplied via PoE (802.3af) or 12 V DC, with a maximum consumption of 6.5 W. Thanks to ONVIF and ISAPI, the camera works with Hikvision and HiWatch recorders as well as systems from other brands.
