The Hikvision HWI-T280H is an 8-megapixel (4K) turret network camera from the HiWatch series for indoor and outdoor use. With a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels you see plenty of detail, and the fixed 2.8 mm F2.0 lens gives a wide overview. EXIR night vision up to 30 m provides images in the dark. The metal and plastic housing is waterproof (IP67) and operates from -30 °C to +60 °C.
The camera compresses with H.265+ and H.264+, saving storage space and bandwidth. Digital WDR, BLC and 3D DNR keep the image clear in backlight and low light, and the camera can send an alert when it detects motion. At 4K the camera records at 12.5 frames per second; at lower resolutions at up to 25 frames per second. Power is supplied via PoE (802.3af) or 12 V DC. The camera has no memory card slot, so you record via an NVR. Thanks to ONVIF and ISAPI it works with Hikvision recorders and other systems, and you view the images via iVMS-4200 or the app. The camera can be aimed on 3 axes.
