The Hikvision HWN-4104MH is a 4-channel network video recorder from the HiWatch series for IP cameras of up to 8 megapixels (4K). This version has no built-in PoE ports; the cameras are connected via your network. Incoming bandwidth is 40 Mbps, and the compact 1U housing takes one SATA hard drive of up to 8 TB. The HDMI output displays footage in 4K, simultaneously with a VGA output in 1080p.
H.265+ and H.265 compression let you record for longer on the same disk space. Playback is synchronous on 4 channels, and smart search and smart playback help you find events faster. The recorder supports VCA events such as motion detection, line crossing and intrusion detection, plus heat map, licence plate recognition and people counting. Remote management is via Hik-Connect or DDNS. There is an RCA audio input and output for two-way audio and 2 USB 2.0 ports. The power supply is 12 V DC.
