The Hikvision HWN-4216MH-16P is a 16-channel network video recorder (NVR) from the HiWatch series with 16 built-in PoE ports. You can connect up to sixteen IP cameras using a single cable per camera for both video and power, with a total PoE budget of 150 W. The recorder records at up to 8 megapixels per camera, supports H.265+ and has an incoming bandwidth of 160 Mbps. There is room for two hard drives of up to 8 TB each (not included).
You connect a monitor via HDMI (up to 4K) and VGA (1080p), both of which can output video simultaneously. You can play back all sixteen channels synchronously, and smart search with support for the cameras' VCA events helps you find recordings quickly. Remote viewing is possible with up to 64 simultaneous connections. The recorder has a gigabit network port, RCA audio input and output, two USB 2.0 ports and a compact 1U housing with a 100–240 V AC power supply.
